London,
I do beleive my sending unit has a leak in the metal line coming out from the tank. The metal line is formed in a u shape. I've been having trouble finding a used one, I was woundering if I could just run a rubber hose?? Or is it shaped in a u for a reason.. Thanks..

Mike

The shape does not matter, but whatever you use to replace must keep a seal at 47-50psi fuel pressure so would not simply worm-clamp a hose onto it.

I've seen a few people replace that metal line with a 90* bulkhead fitting thru the fuel pump assembly lid (nylon washers required for seal). Can do that and then run SS -AN line to the first/second fitting of the hardline or all the way to the fuel filter :dsm:

Well Worst case I guess I'll just buy new.. Thanks, I was hoping to get away with strapping a rubber gas line on and clamp it real good

thanks again!!
