oil leak from oil sending unit?

Has anybodys ever leaked from the sending unit it self?? i know its not coming from where it bolts on to the oil housing. but it is coming from the top of the unit it self.

any ideas?

Yes they can leak

I would just replace it. Its cheap and easy to do.
