Garrett vs Evo16g

I have a garrett t3/t4 installed on my gst (rebuilt 420a) and my best friend just gave me a 16g ported 20g turbo. would it be smart to swap the turbos or is the garrett turbo just as good. which turbo would be faster?

Its relatively the same exact thing, you just have to make sure to get 420a parts not 4g63

Fair enough. He's talking about a turbo upgrade. Tenzor if you wan more than like 7 psi of boost, you need to build the engine.

I'm sure you are aware of this, but I can't really tell everyone is talking about the same engine here. It's been a confusing thread ever since your profile listed you as a GST originally.

Yeah im hoping to run 10 psi so i for sure have to do that.
