Running a stock '97 GST. Spent a good chunk of cash on a new exhaust, intake, manifold, fuel pump, BOV/flange, electronic boost controller, test pipe, downpipe, FMIC, intercooler piping kit, air-to-oil cooler, and all the appropriate gauges.
My question:
A friend of mine has a Garrett T4 that I will be taking ownership of and was wondering, what (if anything) am I missing on my setup in order to bolt it up onto the good ole 4g63.
Between the new manifold, downpipe/test pipe...will I be needing a new 02 sensor housing?
Any helpful tidbits of info, even stupidly obvious stuff, that I should pay attention to in order not to blow my engine?
Also, I took care of all the maintenance stuff: timing belt, balance shaft belt, water pump, alternator, new belts, starter, head gasket, got an ACT clutch on there with the 2600lbs pressure plate, and new spark plugs. I'm really aiming to do this right so I don't have any serious problems down the road...so any suggestions are appreciated.
