Garrett G Series Turbos on a DSM, Anyone?

These are killing it on other cars, curious if anyone has any input on this turbo in any regard from install to power etc??

V band, T4, Twin Scroll and spool?

I'm thinking G30-770 (58/55) would be an incredible street/strip turbo around 28-30psi street boost. My new 2.2L, 10:1, 274, twin scroll should be an easy 675hp at 30psi with that turbo.

Likely out of the budget of a typical DSMer once you factor the parts needed for the install. Would be nice to see an adaptive turbine housing available which allows them to bolt directly to a stock manifold and o2 housing, but part of the magic behind these units are the obscenely-large turbine housing a/r options. If you put a 48mm G25-550 into a DSM-flanged housing it's going to work like a $1500 16G.

Ya, $2400 for the turbo alone isn't the easiest to swallow considering most people wanna offer you $3000 for the car.

But they're showing a nice bump over the last generation turbos if you can afford it.
