Here is a question about the oil feed line, any reason you couldn't use a line made of anything other than stainless steel?

yes but I am talking about using something like aeroquip startlight, the stock one wont fit a 42r

Ah. Its not rated very high. 300 degrees seems low. Just use the FP oil line.

I'm not trying to be difficult or anything I'm just curious because people sell return lines out of it but not feed lines, is there that much of a difference in temps between feed and return?

I think in your case, the oil return line should be well protected since you have a top mount. I think you could get away with running one of those for a feed

I mean it's a small piece of line not going to weigh much just thought it would be nice to have it all matching. No for fuel line it saved me a ton of weight.

I certainly wouldnt trust it with the kind of pressure that line see's. Your drain does not really see any pressure as it is about 4x bigger than the feed.

Your talking pushlock lines correct? If so yes the line might have that pressure rating. but will it stay on the barb fitting? I wouldnt try it.

No they uses regular fittings.
