I'm not trying to be difficult or anything I'm just curious because people sell return lines out of it but not feed lines, is there that much of a difference in temps between feed and return?
 
I think in your case, the oil return line should be well protected since you have a top mount. I think you could get away with running one of those for a feed

I certainly wouldnt trust it with the kind of pressure that line see's. Your drain does not really see any pressure as it is about 4x bigger than the feed.
 
How much pressure are we talking about, I mean 80 lbs or so? The line has a working pressure of 200 lbs and a burst pressure of 1000 lbs

Your talking pushlock lines correct? If so yes the line might have that pressure rating. but will it stay on the barb fitting? I wouldnt try it.
