Sherwood Park,
Ball bearing turbo's have a water cooled center section and I was wondering if these lines need to be connected. I was planning on running these lines but I was looking through a maganize and they had a article about a supra running a GT42R and he never had the water feed or return line connected. Any help would be appreciated.

It's a cheap insurance policy on a very expensive turbo if you ask me, did the article also mention how long the GT42R lasted? Though it was a pain to fabricate SS water lines for my GT12, I'm glad I went through the trouble. :)

Can I run both lines from the thermostat housing or does one have to go to the water neck?

Sorry, I'm not at all familiar with how a 2G is routed, someone else will have to chip in on this. :)
