Ok, as far as i know, i have the stock t25 turbo on my 97 gst. But the turbo has a badge on it that says "Garret" "Made in Japan". Does everyones have this or is mine just strange? the only reason i ask is because i got the car from a wholesale dealers auction and am not very sure of any of the history. thanks in advance!

The best way to tell if its a T25 is to ask: Are you dissappointed with how much power it makes? :p

I would put my money on it being a T25. The T28 has a 1.900 inch diameter inducer and a 2.367 exducer. If you could take off the compressor housing and measure the blades, that would work well. Hope this helps.

i am pretty sure it is a t25, i done see a reason why it could be anything else. i just didnt know that the t25 was made by Garrett. that was my original post, then someone suggested it might be a t28. oh well, now i have a reason to upgrade!:thumb:

LOL having the t2small is ALWAYS a reason to upgrade

Remember, if you called an SX77 T-25 Garrett CHRA turbo, it will sell really well on Ebay. ;)

huh? You mean list the turbo as that, because that is just the fancy shmancy name for the t2small.:D
and all the lil civic kids will be all over it, like a fat kid on a cupcake!
