T25 or stock 2g?

i got a 1991 eagle talon that ima flip in the future and try to get a 2g eclipse. im gathering parts for my Garrett T25 slowly over time but was wondering, which turbo would be better? a stock 2g eclipse turbo or the one ima try to put together? and how can you tell turbo from turbo? i found one at ecology and was guessing but never really found out. help me out

A T25 IS a stock 2g turbo...

The 14b (bigger than T25) came in 1g Manual Turbo cars.

Um...yea pretty much. That turbo is pretty much maxed out on a completely stock 2g, you'll pull a few more horses but not enough to merit building an entire custom setup on.

Are you asking this because you're unsure if you even have a T25?

If you want to know what turbo you have then post a pic of it and also showing any serial numbers on it. Somebody on here will know what turbo it is. Any turbo for that matter. There are some pretty knowledgeable ppl on here.

i know its a t25 but i wasnt sure to take a turbo from ecology i found. i wasnt sure what it was but it looked like a smaller turbo.

There's also a Garrett t25 (or maybe it's a t28?) from the turbo Nissan crowd, I believe.

So make sure you have a DSM T25.

i bought a garrett T25 turbo from zeekster777. im sure its garrett because it says in on the turbo itself. but the turbo i found was in like a gst in the passenger seat. the turbo part was smaller but the manifold part looked bigger.

That would be the turbine housing.
