Okay I have found a Galant GSX and was wanting to pull the entire drive train out(rear end, tranny and all) and put it in my Talon, just wondering if anyone else has done this and if there are any suprises that await me, thanks for the help. Later, Keith

p.s. Before you ask the trans in my car has crapped itself and I am just hoping that I don't find any hidden suprises while in the middle of doning this.

It'll work, but the W5M31 trans isn't as robust. It lacks some of the tapered bearings that the M33 has for thrust (or torque). You'll also have to use a NT clutch and flywheel.

If end up not using the parts or car, PM me. I'd like to get ahold of it for my one of my two GGSX's.

Hey thanks Morphius, the guy who has the car doesn't know what he has so I could get the car cheap, like $1500 but I just wanted it for the drive train, I will talk to him in the next couple of days so if you want I could see if he would want to sell it to you. Later, Keith.
