i have searched and didnt get the awnser i looking for, i have a 96 awd 5 spd talon, i bought it dirt cheap, it has a blown out tranny, i just want a daily car so i have a gst tranny sitting here its a 2g 5spd transmission, so i got 2 questions
1) can i just take out the drive shaft or do i need to take out the rear diff
2) this is my first 2g but fwd 1g cars have a short axle and a long axle,my awd tsi has 2 short axles and a half shaft(intermediate shaft) since im putting a fwd trans in my awd car will the stock awd front axle go in my gst tranny or will they need to be ones from a 2g gst.
