I just recently got a 90 Eagle Talon TSi AWD. It has no engine but everything else is there. I am pulling the engine out of my FWD 90 GS-T. is there anything that i will be needing to change or modify. The owner said something about the flywheel, which he included anyways. is there anything else i should modify or be aware of?

Please reread the whole thread again. The answer is in there.

And if you don't want to, here is the post that tells you how to determine what starter plate you need.

that doesn't really answer my question, that is the 5th time i read that thread and nothing is really sticking out. i clicked on the link this time but the video doesnt work. can you just tell me what im gonna need LOL.:coy:

You didn't need to watch the video. turbosax2 posted this right under the link to the video:

According to Jack, you match the starter plate to the bellhousing (transmission), not the block.

So you need to get a starter plate for whatever transmission you plan to use. Since your car is an 1g AWD, that is the starter plate you will need. You also need to make sure you have a 6 bolt AWD flywheel as well as an AWD starter.

i got another question guys, one of you guys mentioned that the pressure plate is different on the awd. is this true? if so can i use the disc from my fwd cause the awd disc is done.

No, the pressure plates and disks are the same between FWD and AWD. This applies to both generations as well.

thanks for the response, the clutch from the fwd is relatively new, ill just scotchbright it up and resurface the flywheel and hopefully ill be fine.

does anybody here have a picture of how the vacuum lines are routed, i am pulling my hair out trying to figure this out. I think its a jdm motor because it has the cyclone intake. I have looked at the diagram for all the platforms turbo and non turbo, nothing really makes sense for my setup. I have a 90' so if ANYONE can please help, i am going crazy trying to figure this all out. I cant find the purge solenoid and i dont think it has egr, and i dont see a canister in any diagrams but my fwd had a canister. nothing is making sense!!

edit: i think i found a diagram that bypasses the egr and makes alot more sense, but i still dont know how to hook up the vacuum lines for runners for the cyclone manifold, theres this little piece that looks like a little fuel filter with two inlets.??
