Hi,

My 2G Spyder GST Automatic is weird.

Yesterday I was driving for about 120 miles and did not have any problems.
Today I just tried to start the engine and right away the ECL4 fuse burns and car goes to limp mode.
Everytime I change the fuse it does the same thing again and again even if key is just turned to Ignition1.
I did not change anything from yesterday or today. The car is the same way it was yesterday (excuse my english - I am from Germany - and my english is not so good).

If anybody has a clue what is wrong with the car - please help!

What fuse number is it? In alldata it shows #3, 8, 9 and 15 all power the TCU, but i'm not sure which one you have a problem with.
I don't know the fuse box covers well enough to be able to go off of that.

It's the fuse box that's inside the car.

Fuse ELC-4 always burns. Just switching the key to on not starting the engine.
 
sigh... that feeds about every lighting system in the car it seems

Looking at systems that are powered up when you turn to key on:

Cigarette lighter
TCU
Radio
Cluster illumination *( could be idiot lights, it doesn't specify)
Power mirror
Hazard lights

Any of those been giving you issues? I would start with the cig lighter and the radio.

I already found something...

Might be the reason. This is the "Park/Neutral Position Switch" that is located on top of the tranny.

When the switch is not plugged in there is no problem with the fuse burning on Ignition 1. As soon as it is plugged - fuse burns.

There is also a problem with the power mirrors. So I'm going to check this out today. Will let you know.
