ok well start out as im new to dsm's but have been around cars for years was a mechanic at 2 local dealerships when i got out of high school.. i bought my car already modified. so im kinda in the dark on a few things. but as of right now my car is running as rich as rich can be. actually fouled the plugs its running that rich. but when i changed the plugs to get it running again it looks as if there is exhaust coming up from behind the intake??? so if you guys have any idea let me know. the car does have the greddy emanage and profec e-01 let me know any ideas!!

i have the emanage which is a piggy back comp. and the profec doubles as a data logger but i cant get the car to rev over say 2.5k rpm

Maybe your ECU isnt getting airflow reading. Check MAF plug and check the wiring on that piggy-back to see if the wires are all plugged in right.

What do the o2 sensor's read. Whats your LTFT, and STFT? What is your injector PW (pulse width)? Are you compensating for your 750's? Do you have a fuel pressure guage? If so what is it reading? Is the vacuum line still hooked up to you FPR? Check the MAF, and what its reading when you try to rev it up. It will be on a 0v-5v scale. .33-90v is roughly idle condition's, and 4.6v is roughly WOT (this can vary a few tenth's of a volt between car's, and sensor's).

well i figured it out... kind of .... it was getting to much air??? if that makes sense i put my hand over the maf and it idled find stopped running super rich !!! dont really make sense to me but like i said im new to dsm's... got it running decent went to take it down the street and found out the guy i bought the car off of only put 1 bolt in the oil return line @ the turbo which sprung a serious leak and also soon found out he stripped one of the bolts at the oil pan where the return line mounts to. gotta love the corners other people cut.

You may want to test your MAF, because it should not be running rich from TOO much air...quite the opposite. I would imagine that the factory manual would have the spec's but Im not sure. I can look when I get back home.

im not 100% sure what hes done i am buying the slowboy RACE FMIC and a MAF translator from him both new in the box so its really no biggie i already have the 3" gm MAF. im not driven the car so im in no real hurry to fix it right now. since i had to fix all the half @$$ stuff he did im gonna replace the oil drain line and fix all the things the right way. i planned on fixing it this morning till i found all this stuff

is there any easy way to fix the stripped out bolt or do i have drop the pan and do it that way also do i have to drop the transfer case?? or no if so while its out im switching to a manual rack trying clean up the engine bay and have the least amount of drag i can.
