So I just put my 7 bolt back together, and It's running great. Fixed some oil leaks, dsmlink reading wbo2 at 14.7 idle, oil pressure gauge hooked up, stock injectors re-installed, (cracked my Evo 550's...) Fuel pressure set to 46, (afpr won't go any lower??) Timing reset to tdc, lightweight flywheel installed,
The ONE problem I'm having is that when I push the clutch or pull it out of gear after a rich reading to drop the rpm's back to idle, regardless of speed or rpm. (I.e. stop sign, left turn, parking spot, 60 mph curve entry) it drops straight down to 0 and dies. Sometimes link will notice this and pull it back up to running, but 90% of the time it just dies, so I have to pop the clutch to jump start it again.
Any ideas? Normally does this at<11.0 Afr. No codes, link is reading the correct fuel pressure, injector size, wbo2 switch point and throttle position.
Edit: that's not my car pictured anymore
traded the rice for a real dsm. Awd 95 Talon Tsi w/99 gst block & original head.
Edit 2: if somebody can explain the proper way to set tps, that would be great. I physically set it then set the scale and offset on link to match the pedal, but i wouldn't be surprised if I did it wrong.
