Fuel upgrades!!!!

Just wanted to know if anyone can tell me a list of the top 3-5 fuel upgrades they should do then doing alot of work to a motor. (ex. fuel lines, pump, rewire pump, UFPR...)

Well, what are your plans?

I'm no pro, but the most common seem to be:

1. Rewired Fuel pump (190 or 255)
2. Injectors
3. AFPR
4. A fuel control setup (DSMLink, SAFC w. Pocketlogger, etc)

After that you should have a solid fuel setup, unless your going real crazy. I have the 190 w some 550's, and SAFC/Pocketlogger combo and it works great for me. Wish I had an AFPR tho.

1. fuel pump - base on your mods if you only looking for about 350whp 190 will do any more then that go with a 255 they are good for about 500whp
2. fuel controller and logger - even with a bolt on stock turbo engine you can see gains by tuning the extra fuel out
3. injectors - this once again is based on your future mods, if you plan on getting a evo 3 16G or smaller go with 550cc injectors, if you plan on getting a 20g or larger 550cc injectors will work but you will have to keep the boost down. once you go big you have to base your injector on the power you plan to make

well here is what i got right now (not in car yet)

fuel injecters (650's)
bigger fuel lines (under the car)
AEM fuel rail
AEM UFPR
Russell fuel lines for engine bay

just missing i guess the pump, and a logger also i may as well rewire the pump.

how about the fuel relay or fuse that people upgrade?

Well, its definately a good thing. Basically allows your fuel pump to get more voltage (and amps). Heres some links, but you'll have top adapt one of these a little to your Elantra..........
