Hey i was reading some threads and from what i understand is that with the walbro 190 i wont need a mfpr. Now i really dont plan on going over 660cc injectors and dsm link is a little out there budget wise.So would a safc work on a application like that, or would it just be best to get the dsm link?And would i only need a mfpr if i go to the walbro 255? for logging right now i have evoscan 2.5. cant do any pulls because my clutch is slipping horribly:notgood:.
thanks!

You got it all right.

190=no afpr
255=afpr

I do know some people that aren't running any afpr with them but your safer to get one

SAFC is good for injectors up to 660's or maybe a little bigger but you'll be fine and make sure you get the SAFC II. If you already have a logger and link is out of your budget the best thing to do is get an SAFC and make sure you get a wideband when you start to tune. Best investment you can make.

I say save up your $$$ and buy the DSM link. It's the best upgrade I have ever done to my car. Well worth the extra cash... And I agree you won't neeed and AFPR with a 190 although from the start I recommend (as will many on this site) to go bigger (This applies to inectors and fuel pump) since you should not buy upgrades to meet your interim goals , but to meet your ultimate goals! MUAHAHAHA MUAHAHAHA!!!! (My evil laugh) LOL

good luck:dsm:

I would still recommend a fpr. That way you can rest assured that you will always be ok, even when you upgrade. You're putting about 45 lph more with the 190 than stock. Might as well invest in a rewire at the same time too.
