Check engine light come on again! damn thing LOL. but the code i got this time was P0170- fuel trim malfunction bank-1.. the code came up twice. If anyone knows what to do or how to fix this problem, or has any idea what i should fix.. let me know:) thanks again guys

Oh yea thanks for all the info on the other threads!! :thumb: :dsm:

My fuel trim is not moving stuck on 0 and the cause is the 2G Maf not working propably and check engine lite showing with error code# 13 (air temp sensor) ... you should know the cause of your check engine lite.

I'll solve it by GMAFT :thumb:

I have the same code P0170 with my 99 GST. Once in a while it will go off, but always seems to come back. I have done numerous items to try and solve this, but to no avail. If you find the cure I would be ever interested and greatful. I have replaced the O2's, rewired the fuel pump, adjusted my blow off valve, checked for boost leaks, new ground cables, swaped computers, replaced the cat, about the only thing I have left is the MAF to replace. So any one with the knowledge of how to fix this. Please help!

I recommend you to borrow a Maf and install it just to confirm :thumb:

I have done all of this stuff too but still seem to be getting the code. Maybe I will be able to adjust it when I get my SAFC in so I can manipulate the fuel trims myself.

I've been getting it sporadically since I put the bigger injectors/pump in. Haven't tuned it much yet though so I think that's the problem. I just keep getting rid of it, it'll come back on in a week or so

I wish I could borrow one, but I don't know any of the DSMers around my area. Most of them are high school kids with N/T cars. They have nothing more than cold air pipe and exhaust and they all think they are fast! I don't talk to them much because I am sick of pulling to a light and having some kid pull up with a sub par car. I have nothing wrong with starting out with a close to stock car. But don't act like your car was featured in the fast and the furious! I get the same problem when I am on my bike. I have a '03 GSXR 1000 with light mods, but every honda car I pull up to thinks he can beat me. Are these people for real? Even if they had nitrous I would still spank them. I have pulled a bet 1/4 mile time of 9.489 on my bike.
