I bought a new fuel tank gasket and I cant get this thing back on. I took the old one off a couple months ago and I forget how it goes on there. The bottom of the gasket looks like this /\ does that go on the gas tank piece that is threaded? /|\ so it looks like that? I can't get it to work and that seems to be the only way it will go. It wont push all the way down the the o ring thing keeps getting caught up. I've been messing with this since yesterday and I can't get it to work. I need my car to be running so any help would be appreciated.
