Ok I have been searching through the forums and also the 420a Project Sleeper article.

I've been gathering info for my Turbo build in a couple months but still have questions about the Fuel System. Many ppl have said run 12:1 FMU on Stock injectors... but that idea doesn't sound to safe to me.

I was wondering if any of the 420a's here were running the 4g63's 450cc injectors with a resistor pack, and if so what Management did you use? FMU, SFMU, etc.

My other option would be 310cc (30lb) injectors from CIMotorsports, but don't know what management to use on those either or if the fuel pressure would still be really high.

Any input is greatly appreciated :)

i ran the dsm 450cc injectors with resistor pack. I tried fmu and sfmu setups but didnt like them so i went with megasquirt and the 1:1 aeromotive fuel pressure regulator. For 8psi i would go with the sfmu and 450cc injectors.

12:1 fmu and stock injectors with a 255hp fuel pump will work just fine at 7psi. Your fuel pressure will be extremely high with this method but it has been done over and over again with no problems. The next simplest system to use would be the sfmu of which there is tons of info on 2gnt about using it and how to set it up which will require a little bit more changes such as to the fuel rail, removing the fpr, adding the fuel lines and such and probably a fuel gauge of some sort.

You can run a portfueler which would require a much more expensive route to go but you can run much higher boost with the right tune unless you can find one used for cheap and then you have megasquirt which is the best option but a lot more work and knowledge to get setup.
