I need more fuel for my setup. My current setup is with rc1000cc and a single 255lph pump and plan on e85 and the FPgreen. I know these will max out easily at 430whp. I'm looking for 500+whp.

I am thinking about going fic 1700cc bluemax injectors from stmtuned. Anyone know if these injectors are any good or recommendation on injectors?

I'm thinking about going dual fuel pump is the only way.

What is the cheapest and easiest way of running two pump?

Dual intank or inline pump. With these two option, will I have to upgrade my fuel lines from tank to rail?

thanks to all.

rampridersrider on here with his hx35 makes 508hp with his single 255 pump rewired. All he had was bigger injectors. 1600cc to be exact and he is only running at 60% Idc. Bigger injectors is where i will spend the money on fuel delivery wise.

And he is running with clog up non devided t3 exhaust manifolds, on devided t3 turbine housing with those powers. He could make much more with proper devided t3 manifolds...

crazy, i just made 505hp with a hx40. i had pte1000cc injectors. logged 100%duty cycle. dang. i tried to use bluemax 1550cc the day befor i went to dyno. i couldnt get the dead time to be correct. the thing SUCKED under normal driving. ive been hearing good things about injector dynamics or whatever theyre called. maybe i just had bad luck with the bluemax i tried, or maybe im not that good a tuner yet, one or the other....

Are you planning on DDing the car? With injectors that big unless they are Hi-Zs you may have to have a higher idle. Depending on what you have to spend I would look into the 1680cc Hi-z Fic Bluemaxs or the 2150s.

Heres a flow chart saying how much air flow certain size injectors will support. I'm not sure how much the FP red can flow, but I think it may be in the 50lbs/min range.

Injector Size 100% Duty 80% Duty
390cc 21.80 lbs/min 17.44 lbs/min
450cc 25.15 lbs/min 20.12 lbs/min
550cc 30.74 lbs/min 24.59 lbs/min
580cc 32.42 lbs/min 25.94 lbs/min
650cc 36.33 lbs/min 29.07 lbs/min
660cc 36.89 lbs/min 29.51 lbs/min
680cc 38.01 lbs/min 30.41 lbs/min
720cc 40.24 lbs/min 32.20 lbs/min
750cc 41.92 lbs/min 33.54 lbs/min
780cc 43.60 lbs/min 34.88 lbs/min
850cc 47.51 lbs/min 38.01 lbs/min
880cc 49.19 lbs/min 39.35 lbs/min
950cc 53.10 lbs/min 42.48 lbs/min
1000cc 55.89 lbs/min 44.72 lbs/min
1150cc 64.28 lbs/min 51.42 lbs/min
1200cc 67.07 lbs/min 53.66 lbs/min
1600cc 89.43 lbs/min 71.55 lbs/min
1850cc 103.41 lbs/min 82.72 lbs/min

As far as pumps go I think an in tank to an external would be easier. There is an equation though that tells you how much fuel you need to support a particular horsepower, but I don't happen to have it in front of me.

You seriouse with just a single fuel pump. Wow. But you see he's running a hx35.

not really a everyday drive but more of a every weekend driving. Not planning to spend much but I'm selling two sets of injectors and trying to get me some that's enough for my hp goal and e85.

I would still suggest the HI-Zs for ease of tunning, but if you are trying to save I think you would be just fine with some 1550s on E-85, I know I picked my set up for about 435 bucks the HI-Zs are about 750 or so and require a little bit of work.
