Ok i havent been able to get power at the pump or a ground either . What can i do. what should i check as far as i can tell the relay is working. Can i wire a new ground and a new positive?

There is a fuel pump check plug on the firewall of the car that bypasses the MPI relay so should turn the pump on if you apply 12V to it Pic Here.

If it does, then is likely the MPI Relay (that gold box beneath the radio that clicks) or Ignition Switch (FSM Diagram below of circuit) :dsm:

I found that direct power source added 12 volts to it and all i here is the fuel pump relay clicking. It has power to the relay with a test light . Problem is its not reaching the pump . Is there another relay or connecter i can look at? Thanks for the pictures if there is another spot i can check please let me know where its located.Mean while i will search for a fuel pump diagram and relay map that i can understand.

No im not rewired . All factory ive decided to run a new power wire from the relay and a new gound from the fuel pump to see if this works. Im going to go out and try that in a few minutes.

Ok i wired a power wire with a fuseable link from the black and white wire on the relay to the fuel connecter at the pump and guess what it works when i turn the key forward . I guess thats normal . The car runs its a 1991 awd purple eagle talon not my 92 . Does the relay up front run power to any other things? Maybe the airflow sensor because that light was triggered after running? Thanks for anyones help?
