fuel pump relay?

Ok I been looking all over the net for the location of my fuel pump relay. I think that its time for a new one since my fuel pump wont cut on. I checked the pump and it works so this is the next thing Im checking.I cant find the little bugger though! Anyone know the exact location of it?, and if theres any other relay that might be the cause of this isssue? and you of one please tell me and where i can find it.i drive a 1996 Mitsubishi Eclipse with the 420aN/T motor

It is in the engine bay right next to your windshield washer fluid and brake fluid reservoirs. There will be three little black boxes. The one on the left(looking from the front towards the back of the car) is the fuel pump relay. Here is a link to show you where it is via picture.

yesterday i ran into a similar problem. while the fuel pump was in the car it was not geting any power. so i took it out and hooked it up directly to a batery and it came on. i replaced the fuel pump relay and it still refused to turn on inside the car. finaly i discovered that a short had ocured in my wireing harness causeing the fuel pump not to reciece power.all in all the short acured because the batery termanol was loose and it was creating and arc. so basicly if the relay doesnt help you trace back your wireing harness to make sure its in good working condition.
