Fuel pump in, gas gauge broken.

I have no idea what happened except that I installed a fuel pump and then the guage stopped responding, has this happened to any one before or have ideas on what next to do?

check the floater? ne wire crimped?

cheak to see if your float is stuck - mine was. Just pull the pump real fast again - check the float see if it moves correctly then put it back together and see if it works. I'm doing the same to mine right now after my 6 bolt build.

this is a common problem on 2g awds the fuel guage not working properly after its been removed. Most likely iwould guess you didnt re align the assembly with the mating marks on the assy. & tank.

Mine's been off ever since my Pump Install...just watch for the Fuel Light

The same thing happen to me when I did my install you just have to pull the pump and make sure everything is aligned correctly I put the floater in wrong and that was what fixed my problem so I dont see why it cant fix yours.

Yup, make sure the floater isn't blocked.

Mine quit responding. It hand around 1/2 forever and then drops to empty. No idea why.

well then you have a short to ground somewhere close to the sender unit
