Ok I am running stock injectors and stock MAF and wanted to get use to tuning my car before I upgraded. I have a SAFC 1 installed in the car and am checking all the trims with a logger. My problem is that even with stock injectors, MAF, and fuel pump my engine is adding 28% fuel to the mix at idle. Now shouldn't the engine not be adding any at all if it was running right? I think I have narrowed it down to either a bad injector or a bad maf. It keeps adding fuel and I can SMELL the unburnt fuel when I'm at idle.

A) A bad maf would screw up my fuel trims due to air readings

B) A bad injector wouldn't inject enough fuel causing the reading to read rich right? so that may not be my problem.

I'm lost here I've been trying to fix this problem all summer and keep going in circles I'm fixing to just go out and by new 450ccs and a new MAF because I am too broke from school to upgrade right now.

Any help is appreciated.

What does your O2 voltage look like at idle? You probably have a bad front O2 :thumb:

EDIT>

Nevermind, I just re-read your post and saw that you had eliminated all possibilities except for the injectors or MAS.

Sorry.

I have some 450's I just pulled when I installed my 650's, if you're interested.
