20 psi with stock injectors and fuel pump?

Ok i have no idea whats going on. I bought one of those japanese import motors had to change all the bolt on stuff except for the turbo which i think is a small 16? It has the twin fins and is marked tdo4hl-13t-5. The thing is im not running a MBC and im running from 15-20 psi without hitting fuel cut. I checked and it has the 450 injectors and ive never changed the pump. From what i understand 20psi should not be possible but its running amazing.
 
Hi, i am sorry to be posting on here, i am new and do not know how to make my own thread if i have a question. but i kind of have the same problem. i have a built 4g63 with a 16g turbo running 20psi, if i barely give it throttle and let it boost up past 15 psi ish, it back fires and cuts out, i think it is starving for fuel, if you drive it normal, everything works great. again i am sorry to be posting on here about this but if i can get any insight on how to fix this problem, and how to navigate this site, it would be much appreciated!

No fuel management..Turn the boost down, and do a BLT..Either it's fuel cut, or just a boost leak.
 
sounds like fuel cut. do the fuel pump rewire at least, probably need a bigger fuel pump and afpr. when using search change the part that says "Post body and title" to "title only" helps to refine your search.
searching fuel pump rewire like that will get help you more than the link I currently have but here it is

Thing is even if you get all the fuel in the wolrd, the ECU is still going to cause you to fuel cut. You need engine management, and in all honesty look no further than ECM LINK. At least the V3 lite package will be all you would need for a while. For now I'd say turn the boost down to at least 14 psi and see if at least like that your air/fuel stays okay and you don't fuel cut.

My first Spyder would go to 20psi if I left the boost controller open all the way, but would bog down right at 20. Had stock injectors so they couldn't hold the 20psi. Back it down to 16psi and it always ran like a champ.
