Fuel Grade 93???

Hi Guys!
I am new at the forum and a new DSM 97 GS-T owner...
I wonder ...
where I can get 93 fuel grade in California...LA area?
I have heard that it is better for me to drive the car with higher grade and the highest that I have saw is 91...
Maybe there is higher even than 93??
Please give me some advices!

,... you want high octane gas and you live in cali.... the only way youll find it is if you drive to arizona or nevada, and maybe not even then... they stopped selling good gas in cali years ago... just dont give it anything less than 91, because thats the best we can do...

Use a bottle of octane booster, the best it can do is raise your octal rating by one, up to 92 octane...maybe...Its better than nothing..

I'm assuming your car is stock, as your profile is not filled out. If it is, 91 octane will do you just fine.

I was researching this out for my 2004 WRX. I found that Toulene was a good way to boost Octane, but I found that Aviation fuel was more readily avialable and mixed about 2-3 gallons with 91 oct. and my detonation went away(main reason for buying 93 until they did away with it in my area). But with Av gas be sure that you are not running lean before hand, because the AV gas is oxygenated, so it will lean you out that much more.

You can't unless you get lucky and find a place that sells 100 at the pump in AZ, Cali and these states 91 is the highest. 100 at the pump in AZ is 4.99 a gallon.

OK so give me ideas on octane boosters and where I can find em'...
also if you have any idea what type of oil I got to put in the engine would be helpful...
actualy the car is not so stock...it runs better than stock eclipse, the boost is pumping to 1,2 bars during acceleration.
I am not pretty sure what that means thou

Most raise your octane by one point. Like from 91 to 91.1. Don't waste your money. To make a serious bump in octane you have to use something like toluene in gallon quantities.

Toluene in a 20% mixture is the norm for octane boost. Or I found it was cheaper to throw in 2.5 to 3 gallons of 110 to raise my octane from 94-96 octane.

You'll do better with 91 than you will with goofy home-made concoctions. Oddly enough, the huge refineries actually know what they're doing. And, it doesn't botch your fuel system.

You should consider water injection.
