Ok, I've tried searching the forums and can't find anything similar to what I'm experiencing. My fuel gauge works...as it in moves, lights up and tells me about how much gas is left in my tank. I'm beginning to question just how well it works however.

In this order...
*Fill on up gas (~$35)
*Drive 60 miles to work - gauge stays on full
*Work all day then get in and crank car to go home - gauge drops to just above
3/4 tank.
*Drive 60 miles home - Gauge stays slightly above 3/4
*Wake up next morning, get in car to go to work - Gauge reads little above 1/2
*Drive 60 miles to work - Gauge stays on 1/2
(wash, rinse, repeat)

So, the best way I can describe it is that my gauge isn't showing gas consumption until after the car has sat parked for a while. Anyone able to give me a better idea of whats going on, or have this problem too? I've been trying to track gas mileage to see if it's burning more gas than normal then start looking into that.

Mine on my Talon is off too, I dont have the same problem, but I just put 8.8 gallons in it and it was only at 1/4 tank. Im thinking its at least 3 gallons off. i go through 3/4 of a tank in 150 miles. but like I said when I fill it, its only taking 8 gallons from 1/4 of a tank. i think the gauge should be closer to 1/2 ive had it down to the E line, and the light has never come on. When I fill it from the E line it takes 11 gallons.

Sorry to bring this thread back from the dead, but did you ever figure out what was going wrong? I have a very similiar problem, except mine does drop a little after driving for a while, but when I start it up and drive about a mile it'll drop faster
