Fuel Filter

Hey I was wondering where the fuel filter was on my car (95 TSI FWD) becasue I have never changed it before and I have a new one. Thanks.

Look under your battery under the bracket near the fire wall, check out the tech forum here, and it should show you... here is the link...

Hmm... I'm not able to see it in the diagram but I will try to follow the directions you gave me to try to find it under the hood tommorow. Any suggestions on how to change it?

Here is a link that should help you out. The 2g fuel filter is in the same place and changing it is the same. The article will give you a really good primer on our fuel system and it's weaknesses as well. Hope that helps

This link give you some info on the 2g but the frist link tell you how to take your filter off.
Be careful not to break or strip the hard line on the bottom. I'd get a line wrench if I where you.

I found this vfaq useful when I did my fuel filter. It's located on the firewall, it's easy to spot once the battery and battery tray is removed. In the 4th picture you can see the battery cable hanging right next to the filter.
