Fuel Filter to get?

What Fuel filter should i get, the oem one or is there one i can get uograde to? My car seems to be starving for gas and is sucking it up quick! Lol, also need a good air filter....

OEM is always the way to go for a fuel filter. If your looking to get a new air filter, like I'm going to get soon, look at the K&N F.I.P.K. system. Kinda pricey, $120, but def. worth it. Or you can alwaqys go with an ebay one regardless of what you may hear about ebay. An ebay filter and a Injen filter will yeild the same results and the do the same thing: filter air. Just you pay less for one. I hope this helps you!

If your talking about filter alone.. then k&n is the way to go. but if ## lookin at ebay filter. those are garbage. The ebay hard intakes are ok.. basically no difference. One of the only things worth buying from ebay. But use a K&N filter with it.

If you take a look at the K&N website I set you, you'll see it comes with much more than just the filter. You can't just buy a filter and attach it to your MAS. The FIPK comes with the MAS adapter plate and other hardware you'd need.

Now see. I have seen those on ebay too. The only thing though is that it is not clear on if you also get the MAF adapter with it which is what you need to bolt the filter up to the MAF. Unless you want to be the guinea pig and see if it does?

I have installed and ran the expensive K&N fpik and the ebay ones. Seriously, the only reason I would pay the expensive pricetag of the FPIK is the carb sticker. But if your state is not anal or your smog tech is cool, they don't even look for it.

The fpik cost about $100 just for filter and mas adapter

$40-60 gets you the almost 1:1 carbon copy of the injen intake kit above.

comes with hoses, pipe, sometimes 2! filter adapters, and of course the filter, and necessary clamps, couplers.

That I would say to get from eBay. Very cheap and many people run them and have no problem with them.

(Plus you can sell some of the extra parts and make some of your money back.)

Also, you get a MAS adapter with the eBay intake which will allow you to run a circular air filter. So this way, you can either get the FIPK and run an oval filter or use the MAS adapter from the eBay intake and run a circular filter. I'm not sure on which K&N will fit the MAS adapter at this time, but my brother is looking to do this (eBay intake, eBay MAS adapter, K&N filter) so he might be able to help out.

Okay, i will run up to advanced auto parts or whatever to see if i can get it from them for around 120. I want the new filter and attachment to fit the new filter and a new hard pipe intake

Don't trash your motor relying on some crap ebay fuel filter because it's only 15 dollars shipped and the OEM is 37 tops at NAPA. There's so much knock off junk crap on ebay that's sold as OEM replacements its not even funny. I deal with tons of blown dirtbike engines from people getting their piston and cylinder kits off ebay because it was only 40 dollars instead of the 140 for the real honda part.

I've seen those exact air filters suck the little metal cone off the middle face of the filter and it jams right into your turbo impeller and ruins your turbo :/ I have a few in my garage anyone can have if they like. They are junk i made customers and friends take off their cars after seeing 3 here in town get sucked into the turbo from buying ebay "knock off" junk... if you trust it's reputable, go for it....but i would still NEVER buy that style air filter.. Get the REAL K&N with the flat metal plate on the front. Those cone'd fronted ones can and DO come off easily, especially when in the engine bay where they can get hot and the glue fails that holds the little center cap in the filter.

Use the OEM fuel filter unless you're replacing the fuel lines with -8 AN or something... And even then it's still good for a LOT of horse power ( if i remember right up past 600 slightly)

As for the air filter you can get the FIPK if you still have to run a MAF meter, it's really the largest and cleanest mounting option you have.
