well my car has been bogging down under boost for some reason, mosty likely bad gas, but i decided i want to change my fuel filter and spark plug wires anyways since who knows when was the last time somebody changed them! I bought the car last august.

Since i don't buy the whole "filter is a filter", "wires are wires" bs I was wondering which fuel filter and spark plug wires would you guys recommend??

My car is only slighty modded, so i don't need anything really excessive.

let me know

thanks

OEM fuel filter is more than sufficient. NGK, Accel Thundersport, there are lots of good wires.

Your car is bogging down under boost probably due to a boost leak. Make a boost leak tester, pressurize the system and start listening/spraying stuff with soapy water. You'd be surprised what you'd find.

got one...just too lazy to do it LOL. Since i communte with my DSM in the detroit metro, it doesn't really matter since my rpm's barely even go above 3000 RPM LOL :notgood:

so do i need to go to the satan to pick up the fuel filter or do places like Murray's and AZ carry them??

BTW right now i'm running Accel Thundersport wires. You think it's worth replacing them? Yeah are in good condition but show some wear....

It's up to you if you think your wires need to be replaced or not. If I were you, I'd just pick up another set of Accels. They seem to be a good wireset for the price.

As far as the fuel filter goes - You can pick them up at most any local parts stores (Car Quest, Autozone, NAPA, etc...). Satan will charge 3 times more than these other guys. The stock fuel filter is good to about 400HP, so dont worry about pay top dollar for a high-performance one.
