Hey guys i finally got my car back on the road last night! ;) But when I boost it and it gets around 5000 RPM it hits fuel cut. The car has a new 16g turbo on it and is pushing 14psi. It has a brand new Greddy Type S bov recirculated. We installed new plugs and wires when we did the swap so I know thats not the problem. We checked for vacuum leaks and was good there. So I really dont know what it could be.

Ya im set at the stock 14psi on it and it hits fuel cut at about 5000 rpms. Is there a way to fix this?

I have an afc select but its not hooked up right now because its not ment for our cars and im waiting to get an SAFC!!! What about getting a smaller wastegate actuator for like 7psi and i can crank the boost up to about 10-12 with my boost controller. Its weird though because i never had fuel cut on my 7bolt when i had a 16g on it and it was all stock but the upgraded turbo and FMIC!

Ya we did a boost leak test and there was no leaks. It was all good and we reused my 2g injectors! I have an afc but cannot use it because its an afc select and thats for the euro cars and we did not find that out until we alrdy installed it so im awaiting my new safc.

Very unlikely that it would be all good and you still have fuel cut if all you have is a 16G @14psi.

What pressure did you check to, where did you test from, and how long did it hold?

I live about 2 miles from the mall north. I can meet up with you if you want that would be cool because I really dont know anyone with another dsm around town.. Lol

It could just be that your fuel pump is starting to go out. Also if your alternator is going bad then it won't supply as much voltage to the fuel pump under boost, which would decrease the amount of fuel the pump will flow.

You'll probably do a fuel pump upgrade in the future anyway so might as well start there. A rewired 190 is good for over 400hp I've read and you don't need a afpr for it so that might be the way to go.
