420A Fuel Adjustment after head build

so. i just got my 1997 eagle talon 420a head port and polished put camshafts and adjustable cam gears in as well. Right after acceleration. It will sputter a little bit. i asked the mechanics and they said that i either need to get my ecu chipped or i need to buy this thing that adjusts my fuel. i forgot exact what the fuel adjusting object is called. i apologize if someone has already posted a question similar to this. Would just like to know from the dsm crowd here what they think.

its an apexi safc. If you are going to use one you need some kind of logger or at least a wideband so you can see what is going on when you make adjustments otherwise you are just shooting in the dark.

what ive been told i need is an fuel pressure regulator. Now another question. can i use a universal one, or does it have to be specifically for the 420a motor?

to be honest im not sure on the 420a motors you might try searching about it or wait for somone to chime in that knows alittle more about them then me.
