Front lower Shield

Hello everyone,

I happen to not be able to find the front Lower Shield any where for sale, for my 2GB '98 Eclipse GST.. i would prefer brand new never used. I even tried looking for thee used on classifieds, but i still can not find it. Would anyone have oen for sale with every single hole in good condition. If you Happen to not know which Shield i am talkign about is #3 on the picture..

You sure you're talking about the right part? I've never seen nor heard of any 2g to actually come with that piece from the factory.

yes, i believe i am, i mean there has to be something under there because that is just too open, i mean the intercooler is straight up open and oil filter on the bottome are open, to anything that may go up and hit them.. on that picture it shows it i got it from mitsuparts.com, but they dont carry it either.. idk why..

It doesn't show up in ASA or CAPS either, and I remember having this discussion elsewhere too. There are a few aero underbody parts that show up in some pictures (like the one you posted) but no evidence can be found that they actually exist.

Edit: I did a bit of quick searching. ASA North America does NOT show this piece, but ASA Europe does for the D32A Eclipse sold there. The part number is MR138433, and surprisingly the part number works in JNZ's site. It's worth giving them a call and seeing if the piece is available for sale, but don't get your hopes up.

amazing, well i will give them a call in a bit or maybe tomorrow, ill check it out for sure thou, thank you veyr much, that is weird that USA makes dont make it but EURO do? thats wierd..

actually they dont have it. i called them personaly and they said they dont carry it, they have the seperate engine and trans covers, but i am actually looking for the center lower shield which they dont have...
