Whats the correct torque specs for the 96 7-bolt engine front case bolts to the block and the front case bolts that bolt the oil filter housing on? The service manual I have says 17ft-lbs for all of these bolts. I've search all over the site and all I find is info on the 6-bolt block. And it seems everyone is saying 13-14 ft-lbs. Does anyone know for sure the torque specs for the 7-bolt front case bolts? Does the 17ft-lbs sound right to everybody?

What service manual are you using? I have the Haynes service manual. It tells me 17ft-lbs. But I've read on here people saying 13-14 ft-lbs. I just wanna know what's the correct specs. So I don't over tighten them and break something.
