I have a 95 eclipse gsx and am in need of a new bumper.
I really like the 98 oem bumpers but know that i would need the 98 headlights as well(which I'm ok with because i could use new headlights as well).

Is there anything else that has to be changed or modded? Like fog lights?

And if i do need to switch out the foglights does anyone have any that they would be willing to sell or trade for 95 fog lights?

Sorry I'm new to this. Thanks, Mike

Another thing that i forgot to mention is the inner fender liners. The ones from the 2ga are different. Some people don't use them, but they are a good idea to keep the bumper sturdy.

ok thanks and i was thinking doing the rear bumper too but $ is tight and mine is still in good shape.

also, is it ok to just take my foglights off and not install new ones right away? sorry im a newb

ok so are the there two fender liners? one on each side and if so theyre saying 95-99 are the same on ebay?

I believe you should be after 98-99 (2gb). 95-96 is 2ga. They'll FIT inside the wheel well but the mounting points to the bumper are probably different. someone who has done this swap (which is a good percentage of people roaming this forum) will eventually chime in here.

alright thanks and does $184 for a 98 bumper headlights and bulbs sound like a good price? All new.....

Unless the headlights are perfict and from Mitsubishi (not certi-crap or ebay), I think its too much. You can buy a new one from Mitubishi and it lists for $167. I am getting it for 125-130 at my dealer. It will be in on friday.

Now if it matches the color of your car that is a different story. Then it is a good deal.

All this depends on if it is infact a Mitsubishi bumper. Look for yellow to show trough on the scratches on the bottom or the inside, if you only see black walk away. You can get certi-fits new for $100 but from my experince they are made wrong Seen them break in the same spot on 3 different cars (3 different bumpers) and they are made from a more brittle abs plastic. They tend to break at the fender mounting points.

Ebay. I got my 2gb bumber for for around 70 bucks.
Fogs for 15
and headlights for 30

alright thanks again

the bumper, headlights and bulbs are all brand new and oem

theyre from partstrain.com

Those are all Chinese products, you can save about $40-$50 if you purchase from eBay instead of that website.
