friends HEAD?

I need some info about a cracked head from a friends car. The head is still attached to the car. When he trys to start it, it cranks but doesn't start. He found a small hose leaking coolant at the bottom of the car. After replacing it and filling the car back up with antifreeze. We seen water leaking under the exhaust manifold so we are assuming its a cracked head. If you can come up with any more ideas or questions, please feel free to ask.

Unless he got it 'WAY overheated, it's probably a blown head gasket.

This could be a head gasket or a million other things.

You need to find where the water is leaking first. Once you find that if it isn't the head then we can work on starting the car. You do not want the car to fire if it is leaking coolant into the cylinders.
