Posting for a friend,
After waiting forever for a local shop to be finished with his 6 bolt swap we finally decided to take matters into our own hands and take the car out of the shop becaues of the fact that this guy was taking his sweet time and didnt answer any phone calls :notgood:

The car came in basically stock and came out:
2.3 stroker
DSMLink
850cc Injectors
Mitsu 20g
etc..

When we got the car it barely ran and we've been fixing alot of hack jobs that we found..

Now i got the car running great except for this weird misfire on the #2 Cylinder, After 10-20min of driving the car starts to stutter and CEL comes on for the misfire, BUT all he does is turn the car off and start it back on and Bam problem fixed. Sometimes it happens again almost instantly but for the most part it goes away for the rest of the drive.

Ive swapped the CAS, Coil Packs, Power Transistor off a running car and put in New spark plugs, plug wires

When the ECU went to DSMlink to get socketed i asked Thomas if he checks each ECU that comes in for inspections and he said yes.

So im stumped on whats causing this misfire and why it goes away after a re-start.

Lol I too am getting cyl 2 misfires only at high rpm tho new plugs wires and coil I'm thinking injector gonna try it this weekend after it getsd the new clutch

When you open DSMlink and connect, you can control what codes the ECU looks for. This is one of the major selling points when coupling DSMlink with a 6 bolt swap - you don't get the misfire codes and don't have to do the pot mod.

Connect the ECU, got to ECU > DTC, and there should be a bunch of check boxes. Uncheck the one that says Cylinder Misfire. Also in this screen are a few other ones you can uncheck, which allows you to get rid of a lot of solenoids (can actually unplug them, instead of just removing the vacuum lines).
