free floating vs pressed pistons

ok, I have free floating piston . I was told that they are better than pressed pistons. they said that the free floating can hold up to more hp than pressed. like to know is this true , becouse i'm turboing my 420a

pressed pistons like Oem type are known to handle alot of hp but in the 420a case not as much as the 4g63 oem piston much in case because they are not ment to handle boost if your boosting your 420a and you have free floating pistons you gonna need rods that accept a free floating wrist pin do you have them?

and yes in your case i would go with a free floating piston assuming its forged you will be better off with a free floater than a pressed type

yeah i got what he said . The answer to your question is yes, i have eagle rods and the pistons are forged .
