FPR Location

Where is the stock fuel pressure regulator located on a 2G? I'm going to be installing an Aeromotive 1000 here pretty soon, as the previous owner put on a Walbro 255 and no regulator. And where is the best/easiest place to mount the new one?

Bolted to the drivers side of the fuel rail.

Easiest to mount the new AFPR to the firewall behind that end of the fuel rail.

The stock FPR is mounted on the side of the fuel rail. Looking from the front of your car at the motor: right behind your oil cap. The aftremarket will connect there but you prob wanna get the install kit with lines and fittings. Some mount on the fire wall.

They have a regulator that bolts right to the rail. I think its sxracing. I have the aeromotive one and its great. Just make sure it has a gauge. I mounted mine right behind the rail on the firewall.

And psi should be set at around 43 correct?
