Fpr leaking boost

I have an aeromotive fuel psi regulator that leaks boost out the adjuster screw .Does this mean the diaphram needs to be replaced? I took off the nut and washer and put an o-ring on, then put the nut and washer back on . This solved the boost leak but I am having a issue with fuel delivery (car is going lean ) at high rpms and I wonder if this has something to do with it . Thanks

Sounds like your fpr diaphram is starting to go bad, if its lean in high rpm's, its not pressurizing the fuel like it should be. Have you tried adjusting it for me pressure?

Just because air is leaking out the adjustment screw doesn't mean the diaphram is bad. That's only the case when gas leaks out.

You need to fix the seal on the adjustment screw. Some people have fixed it by using teflon tape on it but your o-ring should also take care of it. Now that it's sealed make sure that the fuel pressure tracks the reference pressure and if it does you can look elsewhere for the cause of you leaning out.
