I put on aeromotive fpr on my 99 gst. I also installed a walbro 255 fuel pump. I removed the stock fpr, attached a fiting on the right side of the fuel rail. Ran a line to the aeromotive fpr to the bottom of it. The fuel supply line is attached to the side of the fpr. My fuel preasure gauge does not read any preasure. I took it off and no fuel comes out of the spot where the gauge was. The fuel pump ticks so I know its working. Did I install the fpr on the wrong side of the fuel rail? Its not the side with the fuel filter. Any help?

You are suppose to install the FPR on the return side of the fuel rail, that way it can actually control the amount of fuel pressure that the injectors are actually getting. So, in other words, the fuel comes out of the fuel pump into the fuel filter, then into the fuel rail and out into the FPR and into the return line.

As far as why your fuel pressure gauge is not working, I am not for sure. I have mine mounted on the top of my fuel filter. I have never had any kind of experience with the kind that tap straight into the FPR, but I would guess that they work the same way.

If you have a test light or a multi-meter then I would check to make sure that there is current going to the fuel pump just to make sure.

The Aeromotive AFPR has two inlets on the sides and one outlet on the bottom. If you hooked the feed up to the bottom outlet, well, it's not going to work :dsm:

haha did everything wrong. my aeromotive looks different from every other ive seen in pics on this site. its black and silver and only has one inlet on the side.
