I was reading and i basically was told i woudnt be able to use a fp4" intake on my 1g dsm. Since theres not enough room from the turbo to the fender well. I would really like to use it, and it doesnt look bigger than a stock intake. I am running a 2g maf, so let me know if its possible to use. I will buy it as soon as im told im able. No point in buying something i cant use, if thats true.

Maybe if you where not running a 2g maf and had blow through it would fit. But running that pipe to a 2g maf and filter will be a PITA to fit expecially with short route intercooler piping on a FMIC. Not to mention if running a mitsu turbo you will need a 2.25" to 4" coupler.

If you have the stock piping it really makes it hard to fit. Here is the pipe I had to run when I had a 2g maf on my car and it was still hard to fit a filter since I have long route intercooler piping.

Well if your running a short route intercooler I would go with this intake.

You can get the one thats made for the mitsu turbo which will be easy or get the 3.5 or 4" pipe and use the 4" too 2.25" coupler from FP.

is that 4in pipe. I want a pretty big pipe. I plan on updating my setup eventually, so i dont want to keep replacing stuff. I dont think a 4" pipe would hurt anything.

Go to the website and you can see they do sell a 4". This one is larger than 4" at the maf and gets to about 3" at the turbo. But they do sell a full 4" pipe. Now that that I think of it the FP pipe may fit with the slowboy intercooler piping. Its kind of a guessing game.
