Forgot To....Is it ok????????

I just have a question on the plate that goes in between the transmission and the block..... Today I was taking my ladies AWD tranny out and noticed the the cover I am talking about had two very small bolts holdin' it in...... I remember having these bolts but I couldn't remember what they were for ..... The cover is held in place with the pins and should stay in place with the tranny bolted in....... Just want to know....

IS IT SAFE????? Or do I need to pull the tranny AGAIN to put these two little bolts that I FORGOT

I have ran three of these cars without those bolts just because the spacer was in too bad shape to put them in. Ive never had a problem.

It should be okay only problem would be that it might vibrate and make noise. Mine is only held in by one bolt since the last guy broke off the one bolt tab.
