toronto,
alright guys 150kms ago i did my 2100 swap seems ok as of now....
but when i removed the old tob and put the new one on i ddint regrease it...
the arm was black and what not, my buddy seems to think its a huge deal, im a lil paranoid, so i thought i dask how serious this is...
thanks

my cousin did the same thing on his eclipse, he put it in ungreased and his dad came home and he was about to start it, when his dad asked "you did grease the bearing right?" and the answer was no. so his dad got all crazy and i was called over to help pull the tranny out again, took us 4 hours but we still had her running that night. i guess its a big deal.

so should I do it now, or made for it to mess up then replace the tob?
I dunno it seems fine and there was some reminents on thew arm, but everytime i hear a bump or creak or I think my brand new act is about get destroyed
:(

I wouldnt worry about it. Unless is was a brand new transmission that had no greese on the input shaft.

It will eventually become difficult to push down on the pressure plate teeth. It'll feel more line an ACT 8700. Lol. It's like anything else with a small clearance fit. You scour the input shaft once, and it'll get harder and harder.

yeah ,i forgot to do that on acouple of peoples cars at the shop OMG ,and none of them came back with clutch problems so...I woulld'nt worry too much about it unless your bearing starts to make noise.

This is exactly why I work on my own car... One of my friends has always taken his car to a JifflyLube/fast oil change place. That is, until one of the jack asses stripped his oil drain plug and decided not to tell him. He could have lost his motor! Speedy13-the jack ass comment was not directed at you buddy :thumb:
