i put in a new master cylinder on my 96 awd talon manual. i forgot to fill it with fluid though. I been trying to bleed the clutch and get all the air out. I have a lil bit of pressure on the clutch where it can change gears, but the clutch doesn't pop back up all the way. Should I just get a bottle of brake fluid and use a whole bottle through the system to try and get all the air out?

If you haven't filled the master cylinder, you're just spinning your wheels (same as trying to bleed your brakes without a full brake master cylinder). You need to get air out of the hydraulics, and that's impossible if the master cylinder allows air into the hydraulics. Don't try to bleed anything until you're prepared to keep the master fluid from dropping below the low mark.
