Forgot the throwout bearing....

Hey guys, I forgot to install the new throwout bearing when I installed my clutch kit and flywheel. Is that going to affect anything?

Its there for reason. You need to install it

I think he means that the stock tob is still on there and he forgot to replace it with the one in the kit that he bought.

Not really, if the old one wasn't noisy. They're much more often replaced out of convenience than necessity. And they make a helluva lot of noise on the way to dying before they actually do.
Chances are good the original TOB will outlive the car.

yep, When I tore my motor down for rebuild, the original TOB was still smooth. I packed some grease in there and it spins like a brand new one. 212k miles on it too. It still works perfectly.

Mine split into 5 separate pieces with only 62,000 miles on it. There wasn't any sign of it going bad until it went. It was one that shipped with my ACT2100 and I think that is the oem plastic Mitsu one. If you're not too far into reinstalling everything, take it apart and replace it. If everything is back together and running just forget about it and hope it lasts. It probably will, I just have bad luck.

I still have the stock one in there. I just forgot the new one. My stock one only has 68,000 miles on it, so I guess it's still in good shape. The clutch was still good also, I just replaced it because of the upgrades I'm in the process of doing.

Sorry, your first post made it sound like you had completely left out the TOB. Like Defiant said, you will most likely be fine with the old TOB in place.
