Throwout bearing...

I have an act 2600 I believe. My tranny and motor is still out and I figured I might as well replace my throwout bearing. My question is should I get an oem throwout bearing or an act? Thanks.

OEM for throwout ONLY unless you have a twin disc which requires a special one.

The Non OEM TOB's can sieze onto the sleeve on your tranny's input shaft and pull it into the clutch disc.
Causing your clutch to stop disengaging.
I took a trans out twice to fix a bent/worn clutch fork, not more than a month later it pulls the sleeve right out!
OEM has teflon so it prevents it from sticking.
