My dad has a 1992 Ford Probe GT and he just totalled it. He says I can take whatever I want off it and I noticed the SMIC is alot bigger than the stock 1G one. Does anyone by any chance know anything about these? Like if this intercooler is more efficient? I mean, I know bigger does not always mean better, right? Thanks!:laser:

It is a little bigger and better than the stock IC, but it will never fit in the same spot that the stock sidemount sits. You'd have to sit it in front of the rad, and for all the time and effort installing it and making new intercooler piping, you'd be much better off to buy something that wasn't just a marginal upgrade to begin with.

It's likely not worth your time.
