Could you tell me where your RPMs are at while doing 80 mph with the cruise on? I feel like my engine is reving pretty high. Mine is at 3400 RPMs. Let me know.

I am MT but that is not much higher than where I am at in 5th at 80. Extra drivetrain loss + overdrive AT seems about right to me.

depends, cuz if i'm going uphill, the rpms might be around 4000, but going flat, my rpms run at about 3400.

That's why he specified FWD, because the transmissions are different from auto to manuel and from fwd to awd.

My old auto fwd laser was at like 3800 at 70. Must have been something wrong with that pos. It was at least 3200 at 55.

Hmmm... do you have a tall 5th or something installed? That seems a bit low for a 4 cyliner.

No, overdrive wasn't off. That car just revved rather high. It would idle at 2 grand sometimes and then be high rpms throughout all the gears. I pushed the overdrive button once to see if it was off and it went into 3rd and was like 5 grand. Maybe my overdrive didn't work... I really don't have much experience with auto trannies, but it seemed to rev high.
